Electrical Engineer PositionAn established, successful company in Durbanville is looking for the services of an electrical engineer to join their innovative team.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProject managementOperate in line with the Digital Way of Working (DWOW)Preparation/management of specifications, schedules, estimates, progress reports, meeting agendas and minutes, procurement issuesElectrical engineering and design during all project phases according to client, national and international standardsAbility to objectively evaluate both technically and commercially, different options based upon project objectives/requirementsCost estimation of electrical engineering scope of work, including equipment and construction costsProposals, Expression of Interests and tenderingBudgetary and financial responsibility for projectsCollaborate with local and international teamsMinimum Experience & Qualification RequiredBSc/BEng/BTech Degree in Electrical EngineeringProfessional registration with ECSA3 to 5 Years post graduate relevant experienceRevit/BIM experienceThorough knowledge of the OHS Act (SANS and IEC codes)Good communication and people management skillsAbility to liaise with relevant stakeholders at all levelsAn intimate knowledge of local and international standards and codesAble to develop engineering documentation from first principlesAdvanced knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word, Access and MS ProjectWell acquainted with local equipment, manufacturers, suppliers and installation contractorsAddress application to "The Personnel Manager".Applications must be accompanied by at least two contactable previous employers.
