About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Software Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects that require expertise in Siemens PLCs, HMI software development, and circuit design. Key Responsibilities:
Software Development: Develop and implement software solutions using Siemens PLCs and HMI systems.
E-Plan Drawings: Create and maintain detailed E-Plan electrical drawings.
Circuit Design: Design and develop complex electrical circuits for various projects.
Project Oversight: Oversee orders, installations, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring timely and accurate project execution.
Order Management: Follow up on orders and deliveries to ensure smooth project flow.
Travel: Travel to various project sites within South Africa and Africa to support installations and commissioning.
Criteria:
Education: Minimum N6 or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on CAD design.
Software Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of PLCs, and proficiency in electrical drawing software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD is highly beneficial.
Technical Skills: Strong ability to fault-find and interpret electrical drawings.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Licenses: Valid South African driver's license and a passport for travel within South Africa and Africa.
Personal Attributes: Self-disciplined, punctual, meticulous, and highly motivated.
Beneficial Criteria:
