The Education Advisor will require excellent communication and inter-personal skills in face to face and by phone; projecting a courteous and professional manner at all times when representing the company.
Core Responsibilities: Dealing with walk-in enquiries and selling our courses & programmes to them. Answering (mainly by phone) prospective student enquiries received through our website or any other marketing campaign: social media, Google Ads, other directories, etc. Updating the company CRM with all prospective student details, follow-up information, sales, tasks, etc. Helping in all marketing strategies to promote Bayswater in Cape Town: Collaboration with other businesses, sponsorships, local fairs, etc. Ensuring excellent customer service is provided to our students consistently. Keeping a good relationship with current students to manage their course extensions. Following the agreed internal processes and procedures and resolving issues quickly and efficiently. Distributing leads to the Education Advisors depending on agreed procedure. Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience: Fluency in both written and spoken English. Overseas studying/working experience, ideally with exposure to an international environment for 3-6 months. A second language is needed: Portuguese, Italian, German, Turkish, Arabic, French, Japanese, Chinese or Korean. An undergraduate degree focused on business, marketing, sales, language or tourism (desirable). Experience of working with international clients (desirable). Sales experience in the education industry or services (desirable). Customer service experience (desirable). A third language (desirable). Skills and Attributes: High level of verbal and written communication skills. Well organized and able to manage a varied and demanding workload. Comfortable in meeting goals and working under pressure. Approachable, friendly, and caring. Resilient with a flexible, 'can-do' approach to work. Results and customer focused. What We Offer: 16,000 – 18,000 ZAR gross/month, depending on experience + Commissions: average of 7,000 ZAR per month depending on sales. Training & development programs.
