Nursery Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for watering, weeding, blocking, and sweeping in the department.
Feeding of plants.
Assisting with displays.
Maintaining cleanliness of rubbish bins.
Trimming and removing stock of low standards to be written off or discounted.
Maintaining garden standards by planting plants in the gardens/pots.
Removing any obstacles in pathways, e.g., hosepipes, trolleys, etc.
Assisting customers with heavy objects or trolleys.
Referring customers to the right section salesperson or information centre.
Maintaining good customer relations by smiling and greeting each customer.
Performing any other tasks as required by Senior Management to ensure the continued smooth operation of the company and to meet the company aim of high standards and high customer service.
