Ect Emergency Responder (Internal & External) Paterson Grading C2 - Nc

Hire Resolve is excited to announce a new opportunity for an ECT Emergency Responder (Internal & External) at a leading mining organization in the Northern Cape.
This is a key position that plays a crucial role in emergency preparedness and response efforts.
The ideal candidate will provide advanced medical and fire emergency services to the site.
This position is graded at Paterson C2 level, and applications must be submitted by 13th October 2024 .
Preference will be given to women in mining and members of designated groups according to the company's Employment Equity Plan.
Key Responsibilities: Provide emergency medical services to the operation.
Perform fire-fighting and other emergency response duties.
Inspect emergency equipment and first aid boxes.
Conduct fatigue monitoring and drug testing.
Offer administrative support for emergency response.
Ensure SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, Quality) adherence and compliance.
Uphold professional work ethics and maintain a dependable work ethic.
Requirements Qualifications (Essential unless otherwise indicated): Grade 12.
National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Emergency Care Technician, including post-trauma training.
Advanced Defensive Driving certification.
Fire Fighter II or equivalent qualification (Recommended).
High Angle Rescue Certificate Level I (Recommended).
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years experience in Fire/Rescue/Emergency Medical Services at ECT level.
Other Requirements: Medically fit according to Mine Health and Safety Act standards.
Valid Code 14/EC driver's license with PDP.
HPCSA Registered Emergency Care Technician (Essential).
SAQCC Fire Applications accreditation (Optional).
