Introduction We currently have an opportunity for an Ecommerce Transport Ops Manager in the KZN region to manage the supply and performance of the transport to home delivery customers.
SLA performance management: It will be the responsibility of the Ecom transport manager to ensure that Subbies perform and supply services in line with the business requirement of 98%Risk adherence management: It will be the responsibility of the Ecom transport manager to ensure that Subbies supply all risk-based documentation as per City Logistics requirementsRisk adherence management: It will be the responsibility of the Ecom transport manager to ensure that Subbies apply to and adhere to all risk adherent processes in line with City Logistics requirementsOperational Efficiency – It will be the responsibility of the Ecom transport manager to ensure that the following metrics are measured and managed (with relevant reporting supplied and managed accordinglyRedeliveriesLoading timeTransport billing check and LMS input management: It will be the responsibility of the Ecom transport manager to ensure rates are correctly captured into LMS and all reporting is provided pertaining to the buy and sell ratesPostal code management It will be the responsibility of the Ecom transport manager to ensure that the postal codes are managed in LMS to ensure that only suitable areas are delivered toShunting coordination – It will be the responsibility of the Ecom transport manager that orders are collected on time from the collection pointsIn house management It will be the responsibility of the Ecom transport manager to ensure the onsite processes are adhered to by both customers and staff to ensure that deliveries are collected and executed accordinglyOnroute adherence Responsible for adoption, conformance and completeness of all deliveries using the OnRoute systemMeasureables: Subbie performance 98% on time within deemed SLAOn time and correct reporting 98% of weekly reports to be sent outOn time collection from customers 98% of ordersRespect and Care: Always show respect, care for and treat everyone fairly, put people firstIntegrity and Loyalty: Display loyalty, display integrity, do the right thing always!Can Do: Must have a can-do attitude, believe in yourself, and live out our values always.Continuous Improvement: Must be dedicated to continuous improvement, be innovative and constantly learning to keep ahead.Logistics / Supply Chain Qualification would be advantageousExcellent elocution in English and presentation capabilitiesMS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Operating computer systemsMinimum 5 years' experience in management role / similar positionAvailable to be called out at any hour of the day or night to assist with situationsAble to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
