eCommerce MerchandiserSeeking a tech savvy individual who will collaborate with the marketing, creative and customer service teams to coordinate and execute product and content updates for multiple brands. The candidate would be responsible for managing the setup and presentation of products and categories on the website. Analyses prior season's performance and apply learnings to drive sell-through and maximize inventory position. Leverages historical data to test new strategies, to manage categorization, product display order, landing pages, product and features.Duties Include The Following, But Not Limited To:Manage the end-to-end setup of all products from stock2shop and WooCommerce.Maintain and update all product imagery, attributes, including colour names, pricing, markdowns, filters, tags, promotional pricing and copy.Partner with Merchandising, Marketing, and eCommerce teams to assist in developing compelling merchandising themes and storytelling for each season and across categories.Examine site daily/weekly to ensure products are in the correct categories, promotions are functioning, links lead to the correct categories/pages and product set up is accurate. Tests new features and functionality as needed.Manage and optimize site search results and faceted navigation for each category for increased product sales. Identify and fix failed searches, create and manage a library of synonyms for frequently misspelled products and keywords.Implement SEO best practices for both product, category and special landing pages to increase rankings in SERPs. Coordinate content delivery to help organic search results to rank for branded and non-branded keywords.Conduct competitive analysis to evaluate merchandise, promotions, features and product presentation to inform future strategies.Requirements:Technically capable and adaptable.1+ years in e-commerce merchandising or similar role.Experience working with WooCommerce or similar eCommerce platform.Track record in apparel industries preferred.Strong analytical skills.Excellent communication skills.A great team player.Excellent time management.Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Salary: R25 000 – R29 000 TCTC
