Ec&I Draughtsman / Modeller

Job title: EC&I Draughtsman / Modeller Location: Centurion, South Africa Experience: 10+ years' experience in draughting in the Electrical and Instrumentation field.
Job Objective: We are seeking an experienced Electric Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Draughtsman to join our team.
The main objective of the EC&I Draughtsman/Modeller is to produce high-quality and cost-effective draughting and modelling deliverables.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare drawing deliverables, including transmittal notes.
Interpret technical equipment information and implement it on design drawings.
Maintain and enhance drawing standards.
Generate Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control deliverables.
Manage document registers.
Compile P&IDs, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and equipment arrangements.
Develop electrical layout drawings (small power, lighting, cableways, etc.)
and schematic diagrams.
Specify equipment locations, equipment racking & routing diagrams, draught loop drawings, and instrument hookup drawings.
Conduct site measurements and inspections.
Verify drawings for site installation.
Skills and Qualifications: 10+ years' experience in draughting in the Electrical and Instrumentation field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, IronCAD, DesSoft, Revit, Inventor, and MS Office products.
Strong analytical ability and expertise in understanding complex issues.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
