The individual must be a team player, conceptually strong and highly skilled in design, layout, ideation and conceptual thinking.
Able to effectively manage creative briefs from concept through to final delivery.
The incumbent will be part of a team that is responsible for the production of digital content across Nedbank owned digital channels, specifically focused on Avo from Nedbank.
Job Responsibilities •    Efficiently roll-out digital assets against a media chase list •    Design and conceptualisation of various formats: imagery, animated gifs, video with audio, etc.
•    Design and produce digital video content as per the production planning schedule.
Knowledge in shoots, audio, colour grading, editing footage and exporting to             various formats will be beneficial.
•    Make necessary changes in line with the client's revert and the project objectives •    Proofread and check the quality of your work •    Work with a Design Lead to brainstorm and mock-up design ideas and concepts with cross-functional teams •    Creating illustrations in line with the brand CI guidelines.
•    Effectively execute against briefs through a well thought-out design process •    Responsible for tracking and managing all jobs briefed into you by accurately capturing timesheets.
•    Ensure all final assets are uploaded onto the digital design system/ DAM.
•    Proactively brainstorm creative ideas to produce high-performing digital assets.
Essential Qualifications - NQF Level Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees Essential Qualifications BA Design Degree Preferred Qualification Degree in Digital Design or related Minimum Experience Level 3-6 years in a digital agency studio environment in a graphic/multimedia/digital designer capacity   Type of Exposure •    Strong conceptual designer •    Proficient in Adobe suite such as, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier Pro, Dreamweaver •    Experience working in an e-commerce environment is a benefit.
•    Have good understanding of all digital media and social channels.
•    Must have experience working with media chase list/creative matrix •    Must perform well within a fast-paced/agile environment •    Excellent in working with teams and independently •    A great eye for design and attention to detail •    Knowledge of the industry and new technologies •    The ability to present own work when needed Technical / Professional Knowledge •    Proficient in Adobe Suite such as, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier Pro •    Understanding of HTML5 banners, building in Google Web Designer is a bonus •    Experience in a digital marketing agency would be highly advantageous •    Experience in digital user experience and CX •    Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail and an ability to work independently and within a team •    Take initiative and be self-lead on projects •    Strong digital project management skills with experience in digital platforms •    Ability to negotiate deadlines, deliverables and expectations •    Ability to meet deadlines timeously at a high delivery standard •    Proven understanding of the digital production process and the ability to run projects efficiently •    Natural flair and passion for design •    Strong portfolio •    Highly motivated •    Very imaginative •    Professional attitude Behavioural Competencies Communication Collaborating Initiating Action Work Standards Building partnerships Managing Work Disclaimer Preference will be given to candidates from the underrepresented groups Please contact the Nedbank Recruiting Team at +27 860 555 566 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please contact the Nedbank Recruiting Team at +27 860 555 566
