As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our eco lodge, ensuring that all aspects of the property are running smoothly and efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Manage the day-to-day operations of the eco lodge, including staff supervision, budgeting, and financial management.Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction, revenue, and profitability.Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.Manage and maintain the property's facilities, including rooms, bars, entertainment areas, swimming pool, conference facilities, and business centre.Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain guests.Manage and supervise staff, including training, coaching, and performance management.Monitor and control expenses, including labour, materials, and services.Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the eco lodge.Requirements:5-10 years of experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 2-5 years in a managerial/supervisory capacity.Degree in Hotel Management or related field.Proven track record of success in managing a self-catering property or safari lodge.Strong leadership and management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends.What We Offer:Competitive salary package.Single status accommodation.Opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Professional development and growth opportunities.How to Apply:If you are a motivated and experienced Duty Manager looking for a new challenge, please submit your application, including your resume and a cover letter, to Zeebra Junction Specialist Recruitment.
