MANCOSA, a DHET registered and CHE accredited private higher education distance education provider, offering undergraduate and postgraduate business qualifications, has the following vacancy available.CORE PURPOSETo provide support and supervision to the Curriculum Development and Management by assisting with the formatting and digitising of the module guides, and ensuring new and existing curriculum are at a ready state to ensure that MANCOSA meets its strategic objectives and goals.CORE FUNCTIONS INCLUDE MANAGING THE FOLLOWING:Formatting of all Module Guides, Programme Information Sheets and Curriculum StructuresPerform all formatting and digitising on new and old Module GuidesMaintaining presentation quality and consistency of Module Guides and Multimedia GuidesFormat Programme Information Sheets and Curriculum Structures as per the templateAdhering to production deadlinesProvide information with regards to Module Guide covers to graphic designerMultimedia ProjectPlay a key role in the digitisation of new and old Module GuidesLiaise with service provider regarding system developments for the Curriculum Development and Management System (CDMS)Printing of Study MaterialCoordinate printing process between the Curriculum Development and Management Department, Dispatch Department and PrintersCheck and sign-off on Module Guides sent to the printersStaffingAssist with overseeing staff membersProfessional DevelopmentEngage in ongoing professional development by independently studying to upgrade knowledge field of expertiseActively participate in staff development initiatives offered by the institutionConduct staff development and training sessionsMANCOSA Student SuccessEmploy effective project and time management strategies to ensure that students receive module guides in timeRegulatory BodiesPrepare for and ensure attendance at any site visits relating to the academic programmesActively participate in CHE Audit and site visits together with the other members of ManagementParticipate in any regulatory body activityEnsure Compliance to regulatory standardsGeneralAdhere to and loyally perform reasonable instructions, functions and tasksAssist and attend institution functions as and when requiredFulfil any other reasonable request from ManagementAssist with graduationQualifications and ExperienceMinimum: Degree in Information TechnologyAt least 1-2 year's higher education work experience, higher education experience preferableExperience with engaging with the following software:Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Muse, Animate/Flash, Dreamweaver)Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Visual StudioEclipseNetBeansJob related knowledge and skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Outlook)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressurePrioritisation and time management skillsDeadline driven and process orientatedNumerical abilityPossess a high level of ethics, confidentiality, and integrityProduce work of a high qualityKnows regulatory body requirements (e.g. SAQA, DHET and CHE)Have a good understanding of the Higher Education landscape
