DRAWING OFFICE MANAGERReference: CPT001170-NP-1Location: WorcesterThe purpose of the role is to develop and oversee the draughting of design and working drawings for presentation to clients, for production as well as procurement purposes.Duties & ResponsibilitiesKEY PERFORMANCE AREASDraughting Management: Manage and co-ordinate the day-to-day project draughting and documentation requirements while ensuring that all machine drawings, programming for the CNC machines and Bill of Materials are delivered accurately, on time and in full. This includes accurately assessing client needs, concept development, taking production capability, budget constraints, and site specifications into consideration.Quality Management: Oversee and pro-actively manage the quality of drawings along with the execution thereof in the production department as well as the final installation. This also includes the regular assessment of the quality of suppliers and subcontractors and strategically implementing changes if and when required.People Management: Lead, manage and control subordinates and their output by managing day-to-day issues as well as ensuring that employees have the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to properly perform their functions.Stakeholder Management: Professional and pro-active liaison with all stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure that drawings are aligned with client needs and specifications, project timelines, machinery's capability, and resource availability.Drawing Management: Build and maintain the CAD / Drawing Library as well as housekeeping of the Drawing Office and revision management.
