Maintenance Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Administrator to join our dynamic team. The Maintenance Administrator will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all maintenance activities at our buildings and sites. This includes scheduling maintenance tasks, tracking maintenance requests, and ensuring that all maintenance work is completed in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance administration and a strong understanding of facilities management. Key Responsibilities: Coordinating and scheduling all maintenance activities at our buildings, sites and facilities. Tracking maintenance requests and ensuring they are completed in a timely fashion. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance work and keeping detailed logs of maintenance activities. Ordering and maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. Communicating with maintenance staff and external contractors to ensure work is completed according to schedule and budget. Providing support to the facilities management team as needed. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 of equivalent qualification A relevant tertiary qualification will be an added advantage At least 2 to 3 years of relevant administration experience Proven experience in maintenance administration or a related field. Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software programs. Knowledge of facilities management practices and procedures.
