For this reason we choose '&Beyonders' very carefully - they are the strength and the future of this company.Key OutputsConstant, consistent and clear communication daily with reservations teamConstant interaction with the reservations team and suppliersConstant interaction with agents when requiredHandling agent educational bookings when requiredAssisting consultants with capturing information in the bookings from GISAssisting management with capturing month end reportsAssisting management with pulling reports to ensure process in team is followed and in orderAssisting the reservation team with daily reportsReceipting bookings when payment receivedAssist in creating WETU itinerariesChecking availability for the reservations teamAssist with making provisional bookings with 3rd party suppliersAssist with invitation lettersAssisting the reservations team with quotes and loading booking in TourPlanPreparing commission and refunds to be submitted to management for authorisationUpholding the values of &Beyond: care of the people, care of land and care of the wildlifeKnowledge RequiredComputer literate with at least a basic working knowledge of Word and ExcelSome understanding of a reservations environment is advantageousKnowledge of Tourplan advantageous or any other reservations systemSkills RequiredGood understanding of product knowledge, third party and &Beyond Product destinationsUnderstanding of travel industryOther related systems such as the Web Reporting PortalUnderstanding of quantitative and qualitative data analysis and being able to make decisions based on these analysesUnderstanding and knowledge of the different markets in which &Beyond operatesRelevant understanding of business to create and formulate a strategy and make commercial decisionsSales process and methodologiesSales and brand representationProblem-solving skillsExperiential creativity (Crafting Experiences)Guest/client delightExcellent computer skills including:Tourplan advantageousESS is essentialMS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookWETUExcellent communication skills (E.g. verbal, written, reporting and body language)Time managementTeamwork and interpersonal skillsConflict management and resolutionAttention to detailAdministration and organization skillsP-drive navigationPaperless filingPaper filingPrinting and binding of documentationDatabase filing and managementSpeed reading and typingPersonal CharacteristicsSense of urgency and adherence to deadlinesPassionate about guest delightDiligence and self-motivationAttention to detailExperience Required1-2 years administration experienceThe successful candidate should have an enquiring mind, be methodical, pay attention to detail, be creative, show perseverance and patience, ability to work under pressure, ability to accept routine and mundane tasks, have high energy level, be flexible, have the ability to overcome obstacles and persist with the task at hand, be decisive and adaptable.We reserve the right to not make an appointment
