Distribution ManagerOur client is seeking a dynamic Distribution Manager to helm the Southern Region's distribution and warehousing operations. This pivotal role offers the chance to steer a vital component of the supply chain, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.Duties & ResponsibilitiesSpearhead the management of outbound logistics, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.Proactively resolve delivery challenges and maintain effective communication with the Sales team.Drive cost efficiencies across distribution, addressing any inefficiencies with innovative solutions.Oversee reverse logistics, ensuring timely processing of proofs of delivery, credits, and related queries.Collaborate with Sales to facilitate meeting monthly sales targets while managing additional costs.Lead continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to a culture of operational excellence.Desired Experience & QualificationTertiary qualification in logistics, with a significant tenure of 10 - 15 years in distribution and warehousing within an FMCG environment.Proven managerial experience, with at least 5 years in a role overseeing a team of 50+ employees.Demonstrated proficiency in WMS and ERP systems, with a preference for JDE knowledge.Adept in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and a track record of productivity and cost-saving achievements.
