Dispatch Supervisor (Steel | Manufacturing)

Job ResponsibilitiesAssists the Dispatch Manager with control of the Warehouse and Dispatch DepartmentControls the flow of finished goods, from the factory to dispatch and loadingLiaises with other branches to coordinate intercompany orders and deliveriesEnsures orders are checked against picking slipsSupervises and assists with the loading of all ordersPlans and schedules transport with company vehicles and third-party transportersEnsures timely delivery of all ordersLiaises with internal staff and transporters to resolve queriesEnsures a safe working environment and adheres to housekeeping standardsDesired Experience & QualificationsNational Senior CertificateTertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics - advantageous2-5 years experience in a dispatch capacityPrevious experience in a Warehouse environmentExperience in a steel manufacturing environment – advantageousTechnical aptitudeComputer LiteracyAbility to work overtime
