Dispatch Manager - Pinetown

Maintain and manage company fleet including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Consumables ordering and control.
Plan, manage and evaluate all logistics operations.
Leading and managing staff within the DC.
Co-ordinate and handle the dispatch of goods.
Plan the daily routes of all delivery vehicles.
Ensure the timely loading of vehicles according to planned routes.
Ensure that all products are double-checked for deviations from quality standards before loading.
Handle and resolve store dispatch queries.
Manage the documentation and allocation of all products returned from stores.
Take all measures possible to prevent stock losses or theft of company property.
Check and inspect all trucks for damages, cleanliness and maintenance.
Check that trip sheets are completed daily.
Ensure that all vehicles are serviced within specified schedules.
Ensure that all vehicles licences are renewed prior to expiry.
Monitor vehicle movement on a continuous basis during the day and address deviations.
Management of driver's licenses and renewals.
Requirements
Grade 12
At least 3 years' experience in a Dispatch Manager role in FMCG
Must be computer literate – MS Office (Word, Outlook and Excel)
Own transport and a valid drivers' license
Candidates should be energetic and be able to apply attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
