Disaster Recovery Consultant On-site Pretoria Duration: 12 months Contract terms: Time & Material Please indicate your rate per hour / monthly salary requirements.
As a Disaster Recovery Consultant your duties and responsibilities will include developing comprehensive disaster recovery plans tailored to the specific needs of each organization.
You will conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Additionally, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure that all critical business functions are accounted for and protected.
Regularly testing and updating disaster recovery protocols will be crucial to ensure their effectiveness and relevance.
You will also be responsible for training staff on disaster recovery procedures, ensuring that everyone is prepared to act swiftly and efficiently in the event of a disruption.
In the unfortunate event of a disaster, you will lead the recovery efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to restore operations as quickly as possible.
Your role will also involve continuous monitoring and improvement of disaster recovery strategies, staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance the organization's resilience against future incidents.
Requirements: 5+ years operational experience in business continuity planning recover and disaster recovery.
Minimum qualification - Bachelor's degree (NQF 7) /Diploma (NQF 6) in Information Technology/Computer Science or IT-related field.
