Director: Human Resources

Minimum Requirements:- Master's degree in Human Resources or Industrial psychology.- HPCSA registration as an Industrial Psychologist.- Proven experience as an HR specialist in a leadership position of no less than 5 years, gained in a complex organisational environment, preferably in a Higher Education or similar sector.- Experience establishing HR systems and technical solutions in complex contexts.- Possess a strong understanding of legal frameworks around labour laws and employee relations.Reporting directly to the Executive Director: People Management and Resources, you will: - Provide oversight to the Senior Managers of Human Resources Operations, Talent Management and Remunerations, Benefits and Shared Services.- Lead and direct across all aspects of HR management and employee relations. - Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and procedures, while driving initiatives around talent acquisition, retention and motivational programs, compensation, performance management, talent and leadership development, succession planning and employee engagement.- Optimise the performance of staff and partners through institutional collaboration that supports the University's mission of academic excellence, research innovation, student success, and systems enhancement.- Build and strengthen stakeholder relationships across boundaries and backgrounds.Closing Date: 21 November 2024 To apply: Interested applicants who meet the criteria are invited to:Visit the Website ufh.ac.za/jobs for a more comprehensive advert and send their relevant documents to
