Director: Governance, Board Secretariat And Legal Services 75148

Manage and provide secretariat services and administrative and related support activities to the Board and Committees.
Develop and ensure the application of a framework for legal and regulatory compliance across the company.
Ensure that the legal and regulatory compliance framework is effectively communicated and adhered to within the organization.

Minimum Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in law.
An additional qualification related to Company Secretariat will be an advantage.
Registration with the Chartered Secretaries of Southern Africa (CSSA) is recommended but is not a must.
At least eight years' experience, including a combination of governance, Board Secretariat services, and provision of legal support functions.
Of the 8 years' experience, at least 5 years must have been on a middle management or senior management level.
Experience in providing Board support within a regulatory environment or entity in the health sector will be an advantage.
Knowledge and competence in business administration, compliance management, corporate governance, and drafting of agreements would be preferred.
