DGB is recruiting for a dynamic leader to serve as their Direct-to-Consumer Manager and to lead the Direct-to-Consumer team in South Africa. This role will set the vision and roadmap to accelerate our already significant growth in our direct-to-consumer business and will be based at the Boschendal Wine Estate, Simondium, Western Cape. The DTC Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of both online sales and ecommerce marketing initiatives, as well as cross functional execution of consumer events, Cellar Door experiences and all other direct marketing.Duties and responsibilities will include (but not limited to):Guide the development, creative execution, launch and reporting of monthly campaigns and programs aimed at existing consumer bases to achieve ambitious sales growth goals.Collaborate with internal stakeholders.Develop concepts for product offerings and promotional cycles.Understand the different psychographic and demographic consumer segments within the online member portfolios.Accurately identify these segments for targeted marketing and communication drives.Analyse and interpret response/yield results to recommend new approaches to generate additional sales.Implement a consumer-centric business and CRM system to produce optimal digital brand experiences.Track margin and contribution performance and oversee the report metrics.Guide the internal and external logistical supply chain and accounting relationships to ensure optimal consumer experiences.Manage inventory to ensure products are always in stock and in the right fulfilment location, as well as assisting with all logistics related offerings.All other duties related to the role.Essential qualifications, skills and experience:Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or Communications preferred;3-5 years' experience in Project Management, Marketing and Ecommerce;Experience in managing online sales platforms or Direct Marketing;Above average data analytical skills;Ability to work collaboratively and independently;Establishing and maintaining customer relationships;Strong verbal, written and copy-editing skills;Must have great attention to detail;Passionate about Wine & Spirits Marketing, Ecommerce, and growing business;Experience in the Wine industry and Wine business will be beneficial.
