A proudly South African car rental company with over 36 years of industry experience is seeking a dynamic and personable marketing manager to manage the marketing of motorhome and 4x4 vehicle rentals from their Johannesburg offices. If you are a people person who loves the rewarding challenge of building businesses, they want to hear from you.DUTIES:Objectives of this Role:Develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segmentsLead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategiesCreate, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract critical insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategy, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tacticsPartner with email, performance marketing and web teams to design, test and evolve lead nurturing tactics.Responsibilities:Working with the creative team, developing creative briefs and guiding creative direction to meet advertising and public-facing communications objectives, including print, digital, and video assets.Conceptualise and execute multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels.Manage content and updates for customer and internal touchpoints, establish budget guidelines, participate in events, document business processes, and provide additional sales support.Organise and set-up events.Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads.Identify the effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis and optimise accordingly.Project manage service providers.Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets.REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of 5 years' experience.Analytical knowledge of platforms such as Hotjar and Google Analytics.A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field will be advantageous.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns.Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.Metrics-driven marketing mind with an eye for creativity.Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools.Perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in online marketing and social media strategy.Established press and media contacts will be beneficial.Knowledge of AutoSLM, Keyloop (CDK) and portals like Autotrader and cars.co.za will also be beneficial.While we would really like to respond to every application, should you not be contacted for this position within 10 working days please consider your application unsuccessful.COMMENTS:When applying for jobs, ensure that you have the minimum job requirements.
