The Digital Designer role in Johannesburg focuses on casino gaming and affiliate brands, collaborating with internal teams to enhance brand identity and support retention and acquisition marketing strategies.
Your key job responsibilities as the Digital Designer in Johannesburg will include: Collaborate with other Designers to support various projects.
Build strong relationships with internal teams: Design, Brand Management, Copy, Retention, Player Experience, and Acquisition.
Create and maintain strong brand awareness and identity.
Conduct research to inform the design process.
Utilize multimedia skills: website design, UX & UI, graphic and visual design, site mapping and planning.
Design and develop websites with SEO best practices.
Conceptualize and develop ideas and campaigns from briefs.
Present and justify design work.
Understand responsive design and mobile-first industry requirements.
Prototype designs using tools like XD or InVision.
Design collateral for marketing channels and brand-specific content.
Understand and utilize HTML, CSS, jQuery/JavaScript.
Collaborate with front-end developers and external partners.
Expand and maintain current websites with new functionality.
Research latest website functionality and digital marketing trends.
Design landing pages with user experience and conversion in mind.
Follow brand, company, and legal guidelines.
Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a high-pressure environment.
Understand the casino and gaming industry.
Requirements Requirements for this Digital Designer job in Johannesburg : 2-3 years of experience in design.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
Understanding of CSS/HTML.
Strong design portfolio with case studies and samples.
Knowledge of front-end design.
Experience with Microsoft Office programs: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word.
Experience in multi-channel marketing.
Knowledge of Webflow site creation.
Understanding of SEO and Google Analytics.
Familiarity with handover software like Zeplin.
Experience with Microsoft Teams & SharePoint.
Knowledge of Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Experience with Figma.
