Our client in the advertising and marketing industry is seeking a Digital and Social Media Project Manager to coordinate various digital and social media projects from briefing to delivery, including budget tracking and planning. The ideal candidate must possess a thorough understanding and appreciation of social media, along with knowledge of the main features, benefits, and limitations of all major social platforms.
What you will do:
Partner with capability leads ensuring that brand objectives are defined, and agency capabilities and skills are engaged successfully to achieve objectives.
Able to develop deep partnership capability with senior clients.
Be the first point of contact to ensure business and brand challenges are accurately understood and addressed, achieving client satisfaction growth through balancing the needs of the client and the agency.
Understand in depth the strengths and weaknesses of agency competitors to develop client and market strategies for new business growth.
Plan accurate revenue forecasts yearly based on an objective view of growth opportunities and potential downsizing.
Be accountable for the accuracy of the revenue forecast.
Understand how project success impacts margin.
Partner with the team to course-correct margin issues and applies change management processes with the client.
Partner with leads on analysis of the total project budget against the total project cost (based on timesheet hours), ensuring that all learnings form part of future briefs.
Forecast the resources needed to staff a portfolio, ensuring that the skill set and experience match requirements.
Capability of clearly presenting thoughts, ideas, structure, and form, both verbally and visually.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Digital and Social PM experience (A must).
Ability to accurately scope out new projects: Breaking down deliverables and requirements, structuring the projects, identifying correct resources, and putting together costs/time estimates (PM tool experience with MS Projects, Chase, Workbook, Trello, Asana, and Jira).
Ability to schedule, track, and prioritize work with critical deadlines and milestones (PM tool experience with MS Projects, Chase, Workbook, Trello, Asana, and Jira).
Tracking project spend, burn rate, and resource capacity.
Managing day-to-day issues while maintaining a bigger picture view of the portfolio program.
Flagging risks upfront and solving blockages.
Liaising with producers and account management to ensure all deliverables are met and budgets are adhered to.
Ability to keep a team motivated and moving forward.
