Diesel Mechanic, Sabi Sands Reserve
Requirements:

Must have a Grade 12 (Matric)
Must be a Qualified Section 13 Diesel Mechanic with RED SEAL certification.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must have 5 years of experience working as a qualified Diesel Mechanic.
Must be well-spoken in English.
Knowledge of Air conditioners and the electrical component will be an advantage.
Knowledge of petrol engines will be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

Adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing any defective parts.
Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other maintenance work.
Diagnosing malfunctions or problems or testing equipment to determine the root cause of any issues.
Repairing and verifying any emission control systems.
Meeting with designated vehicle drivers/managers to explain problems and possible solutions.
Carrying out any repairs as needed to replace the transmission or other damaged parts.
Understanding the inner workings of various machines such as TLBs, graders, generators, tractors, and farming equipment.
Conducting preventative maintenance on vehicles and generators.
