Diesel Mechanic

Overview Our client is currently seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join their team in their mining operation situated at Kathu, Northern Cape.
Key Performance Areas:Maintenance of equipmentEnsuring vehicles under area responsibility are in good conditionInspecting vehicles and analyzing raised faultsParticipation in a standby team for breakdown maintenanceMaintaining customer relations and good housekeepingEquipment inspection and supervision of people, ensuring compliance with safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) standards.
Qualifications Required: Grade 12Certificate in Diesel Mechanic (trade)Preference given to NQF4 qualified artisans Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience as a Diesel MechanicExperience with CAT (D10T2) is advantageousMinimum of two (2) years operational Earth Moving Equipment experience Specific Requirements: Proficiency with Komatsu PC2000, PC5500, WA1200; Caterpillar D10T2/D11T; Liebherr R996B/R9800 Salary NegotiableContact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.
