Diesel Mechanic

Job Description: Variety of Commercial and Industrial vehicles: (Excavators, Loaders, Forklift, Side Loader, Trucks, Tractors, LVD's etc)Experience on CAT machines with KRESS & TML attachments will be advantageousAdvanced Hydraulic experienceWorkshop and Field work in line with sound preventative, breakdown and planned maintenance strategies.
· Shift work may be required from time to timeStandby duty is a requirementOvertime required as per workload requirementsForklift and overhead crane Licenses will be an added advantageJob Requirements: Must have Matric/N3 with Maths and Science but will consider a N2 with a Trade Test and at least 5 years' experienceMust have a National Trade Test CertificateMust have 3-5 years' experience in relevant industry experience in the mechanic trade with a N3Must have a valid Driver's LicenseMust be able to apply sound judgement when on standbyMust be able to communicate effectivelyMust be able to work independentlyMust be able to pay attention to detail and have a sound job related safety awareness and not afraid of heights
