Minimum Education: Matric Minimum Experience: Registered Nurse with Diabetes experience Registration Required: Registration with the South African Nursing Council Duties and Requirements includes but is not limited to the following:Production of educational material and dissemination to patientsRetrospective review of related claimsDeveloping and maintaining clinical protocols including new drug reviewsWorking with other healthcare personnel within the organisationLiaising with pharmaceutical companiesCompilation of monthly reports detailing programme progress and areas of cost containmentTo keep abreast of benefit changesTo develop and deliver educational presentations to employer groupsMember retention and customer servicesMaintain risk profile of members enrolled on Disease Management ProgrammesEnsuring continuous improvement and process improvement
