Desktop Publishing (DTP) Specialist Location: Umhlanga, Durban

Salary: R 10 000 to R 20 000 per month

The Desktop Publishing (DTP) Specialist will be responsible for creating high-quality, professional layouts and designs for a variety of printed and digital materials. You will collaborate to deliver visually appealing designs that meet client specifications. Your work will be instrumental in producing some of our most popular products such as brochures, business cards, flyers, and more. This role requires a strong eye for design, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of print production processes.

Key Responsibilities: Graphic Design & Layout Client Collaboration Print-Ready Files Proofing & Revisions Digital Printing Assistance Brand Consistency Quality Assurance Qualifications: Experience: 1-3 years of experience in graphic design, desktop publishing, or print production. Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design/Diploma, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience). Software Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and familiarity with other desktop publishing software. Preferred Skills: Experience in a print shop or similar environment. Knowledge of finishing services (binding, cutting, lamination, etc.). Familiarity with digital printing workflows and prepress procedures. Strong understanding of design trends and best practices for both print and digital media.
