Design Engineer

Job Title: Design Engineer Location: Limpopo, Waterberg District, Lephalale Job Type: 6 month Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Job Duties: Create detailed design drawings and specifications for engineering projects Collaborate with other engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet requirements Conduct research to gather information on project requirements and constraints Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop designs Perform calculations and analysis to validate design choices Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders Review and modify designs based on feedback and testing results Ensure designs adhere to industry standards and regulations Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering PrEng with Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) Proven experience working as a Design Engineer Proficiency in CAD software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in design engineering in large-scale industrial projects, particularly in power generation, chemical processing, or environmental engineering.
Demonstrated experience in conceptual design, detailed engineering design, and project execution.
Previous experience in designing and executing Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) systems or similar complex process systems is preferred.
Must have prior assignments as a Lead Design Engineer in complex, multidisciplinary projects.
