Role Overview:We are excited to invite applications for the role of Deputy Manager at our 80-bedded care home in Crowthorne, Berkshire. In this pivotal position, you will lead our care team to exceed regulatory standards and internal benchmarks. Collaborating closely with the General Manager, you will address operational challenges and implement action plans to enhance care quality, ensuring alignment with our policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and guide the care team in effective care planning and delivery.
Manage and develop staff under the supervision of the Registered Manager.
Utilize quality monitoring tools to address care and safeguarding concerns.
Take overall responsibility for the home in the General Manager's absence.
Work closely with the care team to meet and surpass regulatory and internal care standards.
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience in a management role within a care home or similar setting.
Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and person-centered care principles.
At least two years of experience working in a dementia unit or home.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Minimum qualification of QCF Level 4 in care or equivalent.
