Job Purpose
The Department of Agriculture, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to ensure and coordinate the implementation of the transformation priorities initiatives according to the departmental change management plan and align the change management initiatives with the strategic objectives of the department. This post is based in Elsenburg.
Minimum Requirements
An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 3 years management level experience; A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence.

Key Performance Areas
Ensure the development and review of the departmental transformation strategy, policies and practices; Manage and ensure the implementation of the transformation priorities processes and strategies; Ethics promotion and compliance management; Administrative and financial management functions.

Knowledge of the following: Change processes; Change management principles, methodologies and tools; Project management approaches, tools and phases of project lifecycle; Organisational transformation efforts; Ethics management; Skills needed: Organising and planning; Presentation; Listening; Relationship management; Influence and motivational; Written and verbal communication.
Remuneration
All-inclusive salary package of R 849 702 per annum (Salary Level 11).
Note on remuneration: Service benefits or obligations for qualifying employees (medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc) are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
Notes
Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit documentation for verification purposes and criminal record vetting. These candidates will be required to attend interviews on a date and time determined by the department and may also be required to undergo competency assessments/proficiency tests. The selection process will be guided by the EE targets of the employing department.
