Managing Staff compliment = 120 +Job ResponsibilitiesOn Job Training – Ensure competence.Daily Staff allocation/Delegation accordingly.Staff disciplinal and Moral.Adhere to all company procedures.Accurate monthly roasting.Timekeeping.PPE management.Admin RequirementsDaily completion of all required documentation.Completion of payroll and submission timeously.Closing on finding on system as required.Dish room Temp verification report.Timekeeping report – Weekly.Conducting Toolbox Talks as required.Ensure absenteeism report is sent to HR.Monthly Equipment Report.Action plans – nonconformities.PPE requirement reports - Weekly.Staff Off/Leave request report.Monthly Department cleaning project report.Operational RequirementsDaily multiple hygiene check and inspection of all areas.Report all maintenance issues.Report all safety concerns.Report all pest sightings.Ensure food safety processes and procedures are adhered to.Ensure all cleaning processes and procedures are adhered to.Deep cleaning planning and execution of protocol cleaning.Rapid response to all complaints raised.Ensure the checklists are completed and verified before signing off.Daily unit waste management.Daily management of dish room operations.Daily Dish room washer machines deep cleaning process adhered.Ensure effective management of the afternoon & night shift cleaning team.Full compliance of all QHSE procedures.Management chemical supplier SLA.Management of Laundry services SLA.Management of Sub-contractor Ablution Hygiene SLA.Management of effluent Water treatment plant.Audit preparation planning and execution.Monitor and control correct color code cleaning procedures.Ensure all pot wash areas cleaning/washing of all cooking equipment after wash is inspected continuously and drying stacking method adhered.Ensure Admin Areas/offices are always kept clean and tidy.Any other reasonable task that may be required by management.Stock ControlConduct monthly stock take/inventory on Winrest system.Order the required chemicals timeously.Ensure output forms are done on Winrest system for all items being pulled for the chemical store daily.Ensure correct chemicals are issued and recorded daily report.Chemical usage reports weekly.Qualifications & Other RequirementsGrade 12.Own reliable vehicle.Full competence on Microsoft applications - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.Knowledge of HACCP will be an advantage.Minimum 5 Years' experience in a similar role.Previous experience managing cleaning staff.Knowledge of Food safety cleaning processes and procedures.Project management skills.Problem-solving skills.Interpersonal skills.Decision-making skills.Full Staff Management skills.Able to work to deadlines.Able to work under pressure.Planning and Organizing skills.Must be able to work weekends and public holidays as per a roster system.Overtime will be necessary from time to time.A course in Leadership Development will be an advantage.
