The role's main purpose is to lead a technical team that is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects and services that support the bank's core systems. Experience Minimum: 3 years proven experience in a lead role in software development delivery. Strong experience as a Technical Lead/Delivery Lead. Experience within a Core Banking environment with exposure to software development and delivery. IT systems development processes (SDLC). Familiar with Agile and project tracking tools. Application development and delivery. System support. Standards and governance. Testing practices. Ideal: Exposure to COBOL development. Amazon Web Services (AWS). Technical aptitude. Banking systems and e-Channels. Capitec Bank's systems environment. Qualifications (Minimum) Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred) Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology - Computer Science or Information Technology - Programming Knowledge Minimum: 3 years proven experience in a lead role in software development delivery. Strong experience as a Technical Lead/Delivery Lead. Technical aptitude. Delivery in an Agile environment (including Agile principles and toolsets). Ideal: Exposure to COBOL development.
