Debtors Clerk

Purpose of the job is to provide accurate, timeous support to the finance team in managing debtors efficiently. The role will be based at the Sifiso Learning Group office in Illovo, Sandton, Johannesburg.
Requirements: Matric Certificate3 years of Debt collection experienceGood knowledge and understanding of reconciliationsEdAdmin and 3-5 years' experience a mustHands-on experience with Pastel Evolution softwareAdvanced proficiency in MS Office – especially MS ExcelHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and motivated to work on own initiativeA constructive, positive and progressive attitude to working individually as well as part of a teamKey Responsibilities: Phoning customers for payment on overdue accountsSending out monthly statementsData capturing from bank statement to Pastel system and from receipts to Pastel systemAge analysis Bank statement reconciliationsAd hoc finance and operations dutiesKindly send all applications with a motivation letter on why you believe that you are suitable to: ****** Closing Date: 04/12/2024
