Db2 / Idms / Z/Os Mainframe Database Administrator (1-Year Contract)

One of the TOP banks in S.A. is seeking an experienced DB2 / IDMS Data Administrator to join their JHB team on a 1-year contract.
Qualifications and experience:
IT degree or equivalent
Minimum of 4 years' work experience on IDMS / DB2 database
No less than 8 years' within IT, of which 5 years' is in operational DBA within a large complex corporate environment
Understanding of mainframe operating system concepts and experience in another mainframe discipline
Experience in DR exercise
Willing to travel when required
Position requires standby duties and after hours support
Provide customer support during weekends

Create and maintain business database objects within IDMS / DB2 sub-system
Perform database tuning
