Data Engineer X5 - Contract

Our Client, a Global Tech firm, is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team in Sandton on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth, attractive rates, and a great working environment.5 roles to fill - Request for 5 resources: 1 x DE required for ECP, 2 x DE required for CoDI, and 2 x DE required.The Data Engineer skill is required to enable the data lifecycle within EDS, namely the ability to integrate data between source systems (golden/trusted) and the target database (LOB), hence providing good quality data by applying the necessary frameworks and governance to whomever may require it (BI and advanced analytics).Experience, Knowledge, and Understanding Of:Data warehousing concepts (advantageous).Ab Initio development experience (on-prem and cloud) (essential).Exposure to UNIX and SQL (DB2, MS SQL, and Netezza) and Oracle.Exposure to Azure Cloud.Agile working approach (essential).Should be a self-starter that can work under minimal supervision.Able to work independently.
