Flexible schedule; client time is St. George, UT Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines, ensuring structured, clean, and accessible data from PowerPages and other sources, including APIs and databases.Collaborate with data analysts to optimize pipelines for analytics, ensuring clean, structured data is readily available for insights.Collaborate with UI/UX and front-end development teams to integrate data effectively into the user interface, improving data presentation.Leverage Microsoft technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Power BI, to manage and visualize data effectively.Optimize data storage, retrieval, and performance to ensure smooth interaction between the backend and front-end (Microsoft-based) systems.Implement robust ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and other Microsoft solutions to manage data flow from various sources into the platform.Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across the platform's data pipelines through established quality measures.Proactively troubleshoot data pipelines and resolve data-related issues, ensuring consistent, high-quality data delivery.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data engineering efforts with business and platform goals.Stay updated with the latest developments in Microsoft technologies and best practices in data engineering.RequirementsProven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with expertise in working on Microsoft-based platforms.Strong proficiency with SQL and experience working with Microsoft databases like Azure SQL or SQL Server.Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Power BI, or similar Microsoft tools for data integration and visualization.Experience in programming languages like Python, .NET, or PowerShell for data processing.Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure, including storage solutions like Azure Data Lake.Strong understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing principles within Microsoft environments.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with front-end data integration using Microsoft technologies, such as Power BI or custom dashboards built on Microsoft frameworks.Familiarity with CI/CD practices and DevOps tools within the Azure ecosystem.Knowledge of data visualization libraries and frameworks compatible with Microsoft technologies.Understanding of machine learning pipelines and data-driven decision-making models in a Microsoft environment.
