We are looking for passionate and driven fresh graduates to join our dynamic team as Junior Data Engineers.
Exusia is looking for entry-level Computer Science Engineering / Information Technology graduates to become part of our fast-expanding Analytics practice in South Africa. The selected candidates will go through 6 weeks of extensive Industry Training and development program under Exusia's Training Academy, enhancing your skills in Data Engineering, Cloud Computing, and Big Data Analytics. On successful completion of the training and mentoring program, candidates will undergo an internal assessment. Those who succeed will have the opportunity to extend their contract and work for one of the largest banks in South Africa.
Candidates will continue to receive mentoring from Exusia's senior team members to enhance their technical skills and accelerate their path to attaining a long-term contract at Exusia or Exusia's client.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Strong foundational knowledge in Data Structures & Algorithms.
Strong programming skills using at least one of the languages - Java, C, C++ or Python.
Good understanding of Relational Database concepts and SQL / PL SQL.
Basic knowledge of UNIX or Linux Operating systems and shell scripting.
Basic understanding of Data warehousing and Data Engineering concepts is a plus.
Understanding of Azure Cloud Platform is a plus.
Exposure to Cloud Data Warehouses such as Azure Synapse or Snowflake is a plus.
