Job SummaryFarm Manager SA is seeking a highly experienced Dairy Manager to join our team. As a key member of our agricultural operations, you will be responsible for the overall management of our dairy farm, ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare, milk production, and farm efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement dairy farm management strategies to optimize milk production and farm profitability.Oversee the daily operations of the dairy farm, including cow health, nutrition, and breeding programs.Manage a team of farm staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the highest levels of performance and productivity.Monitor and control farm expenses, ensuring effective use of resources and minimizing waste.Collaborate with other farm managers and agricultural specialists to share best practices and improve overall farm performance.Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in dairy farm management, applying new knowledge and techniques to improve farm operations.RequirementsAgricultural Diploma or Degree highly advantageous.Minimum 5-8 years of dairy farm management experience.At least 3 years of previous pasture management experience.Dairy management experience essential.Computer literate.Strong stockmanship skills.Excellent record of management skills.Hard-working, deadline-driven, and diligent.Maintenance-oriented advantageous.Ability to speak Xhosa an advantage.Valid driver's license.
