Customs Risk Management Short-Term Expert

The Customs Risk Management Expert duties and responsibilities will include: The expert will be responsible for the following: Assessing the existing risk management framework and procedures within the tax administration. Identifying potential areas of improvement and develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with cross-border trade. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders including customs officers, trade partners, and other government agencies to gather insights and data for risk analysis. Developing risk assessment models and tools to evaluate the likelihood and impact of various risk factors on customs operations. Implementing risk management protocols and procedures to streamline customs processes and enhance compliance with regulatory requirements. Providing training and support to customs personnel on risk management techniques, tools, and best practices. Developing a customs risk management guidebook and/or manual. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of risk management initiatives and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Staying abreast of developments in customs regulations, international trade practices, and emerging risks to ensure the effectiveness and relevance of risk management strategies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
