This role involves supporting our leasing efforts by generating new lease opportunities through inbound calls, follow-up via text and email, as well as making outbound cold calls when necessary to help maximize occupancy.This position requires working hours aligned with the United States, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across teams and stakeholders within this time zone.To be considered for this role, you must complete a full application on our company careers page, including all screening questions and a brief pre-employment test.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESKey Responsibilities:Provide a best-in-class, dynamic, proactive, and friendly prospect and applicant customer service experience.Perform all sales and leasing activities that meet the expected revenue and occupancy goals by promptly qualifying prospects, expeditious follow-up, assisting with processing applications, credit screening, and criminal background checks as needed, and ensuring a smooth resident move-in and lease signing experience.Collaborate with maintenance team members prior to resident move-in and ensure homes are in move-in ready condition owning coordination of scheduling any outstanding items aligned with the company-wide scope of work to be addressed with the maintenance team.Demonstrate knowledge and provide feedback about current market and competitor conditions that may impact occupancy and sales results, assist with the development and implementation of short and long-term marketing plans and goals to sustain occupancy.Follow the established policies related to concessions, specials, and other programs to boost occupancy.Possess a sales-minded mentality with a high skill set in overcoming objections, creating a sense of urgency, and closing the deal ensuring prospects become residents at every given opportunity.Strong proficiency in the use of leasing and property management software to track availability, record leasing activities, manage resident and prospect data.Follow-up with prospects to ensure satisfaction by sending e-mail, thank-you notes, and cards or making telephone calls or other contacts to finalize decisions to lease.Respond quickly and courteously to prospect and client/owner concerns and questions and take prompt action to solve problems and/or document and convey prospect or other requests to the appropriate individual(s).CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONSWONDER IF YOU ARE A GOOD FIT FOR THIS POSITION?All positive, and driven applicants are encouraged to apply. The Ideal candidates for this position are highly motivated and dedicated and should possess the below qualities:BS/BA or equivalent education and experience.Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a leasing or sales role, preferably in a contact center or real estate environment.Proven ability to deliver best-in-class, proactive, and friendly customer service to prospects and applicants.Strong track record in performing sales and leasing activities that meet or exceed revenue and occupancy goals, including qualifying prospects, following up promptly, assisting with application processing, credit screening, and background checks, and ensuring a smooth move-in and lease signing process.Experience collaborating with maintenance teams to ensure homes are move-in ready and coordinating any outstanding items to meet company standards.Solid understanding of current market and competitor conditions, with the ability to provide valuable feedback and contribute to short and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.Knowledge of policies related to concessions, specials, and other occupancy-boosting programs.Strong sales acumen, with expertise in overcoming objections, creating urgency, and closing deals to convert prospects into residents.Proficient in leasing and property management software to track availability, record activities, and manage resident and prospect data.Exceptional follow-up skills, including sending thank-you notes, emails, and making calls to finalize leasing decisions.Ability to respond quickly and courteously to prospect, client, and owner inquiries, taking prompt action to resolve issues or escalate to the appropriate team members.COMPENSATION DETAILSWANT AN EMPLOYER THAT VALUES YOUR CONTRIBUTION?At MCI, we believe that your hard work deserves recognition and reward. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer.
