Credit Reporting AnalystOur client is looking for a Credit Reporting Analyst to join their team.Duties & ResponsibilitiesKey PurposeTo develop, manage and monitor relevant reporting models, to provide advanced analytical support, to critically analyze and advise the department on data-driven insights and trends, and create and maintain accurate data, dashboards, and management reports.Key OutcomesPrepare and circulate all daily reports to relevant stakeholders.Manage system/technical issues by logging service desk tickets with IT.Track all system/policy/operational changes made.Compile Month End reports and distribute in a timely manner.Ensure KPI's are accurately recorded.End to end system testing.Ad-hoc projects.Data Analytics to support business needs.Ad-hoc analytics.Monthly analysis on key Credit Risk areas.Use SQL to extract and analyze data to make data-driven, actionable recommendations about how to improve policies and processes.Work closely with the Data Science team to price and implement Machine Learning or AI models that optimize portfolio outcomes.Automation of reports and processes.Desired Experience & QualificationBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Science or similar field. Preferred: Honours degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Science or similar field.Proficiency in SQL.Advanced Excel.Data Development and MaintenanceAssist and advise on creating and maintaining data in the optimal manner.Experience2-5 years' experience in Data Analytics, Modelling and Reporting.Credit Underwriting would be an advantage.Preferred IndustryFinancial / Credit risk analytics.SkillsTechnical (at least some of the below skills will be necessary)SQL coding.Advanced Excel.Ability to work with complex and large amounts of data.Microsoft 365.Package & RemunerationR35 000 pm
