Sound verbal, written and telephonic communication skills in English
Sound computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel & Pastel)
Precise and accurate accounting / administration skills, as well as attention to detail
Deadline orientated and analytical
Energetic and flexible disposition
Sound organizational ability

OTHER

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS

General administration and accounting duties, relating to Debtors (Accounts Receivable)
Monthly Reconciliation of debtors' accounts
Collating and preparing invoicing data from CE for importing to Pastel Evolution
Preparing and circulating monthly Invoicing and statements
Monthly collections of monies due
Liaising with debtors and following up on queries
Capturing of cash books
Following up on overdue accounts and adhering to set standards
Downloading / Preparation of invoicing / balancing from CE for importing to Pastel Evolution
Completion of debtors age analysis and allocation of aging
Monitoring of orders and account balances to ensure that credit limits are not exceeded, arranging interim payments, where required
Preparation of credit applications and data reports for new trade facility applications
General administration and filing
Liaising with sales staff and plant staff, where required
Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks as required
Assisting the Accountant and Financial Manager, where required
