Credit Controller

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Credit Controller to start as soon as possible!
Ideal candidates will have between 5 - 10 years solid experience in credit control.
Requirements:Matric Certificate (requirement) Completion of credit control courses (Credit Management Levels 1, 2, and 3) is preferredMaintain a good credit record with no judgments or criminal record Good communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with clients, debtors, and managementProvide good references; must be honest, reliable, and eager to workTeam player who can collaborate effectively with a credit control teamResponsibilities:Manage a portfolio of various clients and their debtors (300+ debtors)Vet and open new accountsApprove credit limitsUtilize strong collection skills through telephonic and email communicationsAchieve collection targets consistentlyMaintain a professional telephonic mannerWrite correspondence effectively; good command of the English language is essential (Afrikaans is a plus)Have experience with chain stores e.g (Shoprite, Makro, Woolworths, etc.
