Crane Millwright

Job Description: Cranes Millwright is responsible for all Engineering First Line Maintenance, Daily Inspections and Repairs in their assigned section in the plant area.
The task they perform must at all times be focused to improve production and product quality and to eliminate breakdowns.
When a breakdown occurs, they will be the first line of defense and must ensure that downtime is kept to a minimum.Job Requirements: Be qualified as a millwright and minimum N3 or Matric with Maths & ScienceBe pro-active, hardworking and demonstrate high levels of flexibilityBe able to work under pressure and give attention to detailBe able to work without direct supervisionBe a strong team player, be bilingual and have excellent communication skillsHave a good mechanical, electrical/electronic and instrument knowledgeBe computer literateHave three to five years post apprentice work experience as a millwrightBe physically fit and not afraid of confined spaces and heightsBe willing to work overtime as requestedMust be willing to do standbyHave extensive knowledge of electrical circuitsLMI certification or studying towards its completion will be added advantage
