Cpt Depot Supervisor (Fmcg)

Duties include:Responsible for supervising the Cape Town warehouse with regards to receiving, storing, picking and dispatching of stock. Ensuring FIFO principles and batch control is strictly adhered toMonitor loading of delivery and depot vehicles, ensuring high standard of housekeeping is maintainedLead and manage warehouse assistants and receiving & dispatch controllersManage inventory in CT Depot by cyclical stock takes and picking by batch as well as efficient stock rotationManage the hygiene of all product in the depot in line with BU requirementsManage depot in line with all Food Safety and ISO requirementsManage the accurate picking of orders ready for deliveryManage daily, weekly and monthly warehouse reports into CT depot managerManage the accurate picking of orders ready for deliveryReceive the stock from SCTs and manage efficient storage thereofManage all elements of the CT fridge and receipt and dispatch of Durban and JHB SCTs in line with agreed product requirementsManage the loading/offloading of import and export containers for the CT warehouseEnsure all relevant paperwork is managed in line with requirements stipulated in work instructions inclusive of picking slipsManage the CHEP account and pallets for the CT depotManage the sample issuing and no charge invoice process to lab for quality testing/customersManage housekeeping of all warehouses Assist with driving operational efficienciesRequirements:Min National Diploma / DegreeFluent in English and isiXhosa Min 5 years experienceRelevant Quality, Food Safety and Safety Systems knowledge preferredKnowledge of cold chain supply preferredIntermediate computer literacy
