Vacancy for a Finance Operations Controller / Cost Management AccountantJoin a multinational company situated in Johannesburg.Duties & ResponsibilitiesMain Responsibilities in the manufacturing department are: (Detailed spec will be shared with qualified candidates)Lead the financial planning and budgeting processLead the financial planning and budgeting process for total business overheadsEnsure the timely uploads of monthly sales information into the global reporting systemMonthly Headcount Reporting (FTEs) to regional controllersProvide the consumption quantities for all raw materials used in the monthly manufacturing processProvide journals for posting, including reallocations and monthly/annual accruals for the manufacturing divisionContinuous tracking and monitoring of the capital expenditure budgetImplement and maintain robust cost control measuresCost optimization and process improvements within manufacturing operationsManufacturing division "dashboard" and Profit & Loss reportSubmission of "Capex by Projects"Costing ResponsibilitiesPrepare annual Cost of Production calculationsMaintain the costing of the Bill of Materials (BOMs) annuallyMaintain the costing views for all new material requisitionsMaintain data tables relating to purchasing info recordsReview purchasing info records and standard costsDetailed understanding of the drivers of material price variancesMaintenance of the Price Set Tables (PST) and "ASP tool"Desired Experience & QualificationBachelor's Degree in finance/CIMA (preferred)5 – 8 years in Controlling at a large multinationalHighly proficient in ExcelPackage & RemunerationTBD
