Location: Sandton, JHB Salary: R1m -R1.1m per annum JOB PURPOSE The overall purpose of this role is to provide support to the Board Committees, Management Committees as well as to Subsidiary Companies KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Objectives Ensure that minutes of committee meetings are properly recorded.
Ensure the administration and maintenance of the company's and subsidiaries statutory books and records.
Providing committee members collectively and individually with guidance about duties and responsibilities.
Ensure compliance with the s corporate governance framework.
Ensure that services provided to clients (both internal and external) meet quality standards.
Ensuring that directors are aware of all laws and legislation relevant to or affecting the company and its subsidiaries and be able to report at any meetings of the company's Board of Directors.
Ability to conduct effective research and to prepare management reports Formulating committee agendas in conjunction with the Group Company Secretary and Committee chairperson BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE Formal Qualification/Degree Any of the following qualifications: CIS; B Com (Law); BA (Law) or, LLB A postgraduate degree (LLM / MBA / MBL) will be an added advantage Work Experience (What kind of experience is needed in order to do this job?)
