Description As the Chief Operating Officer in the renewable energy industry, you always have recruiters on your tail.
You are someone who is well rounded, some may say, "a jack of all trades as well as master of all of them too!"
We are looking for someone who has exposure to business development, marketing, finances, project management and of course operations , but someone who has proven experience bringing the most value out of their teams which can be tangibly attributed to the bottom line, ideally values in the R100M range.
We are however, ideally looking for an Engineer at heart, but an Engineer who has developed and mastered these additional abilities and attributes.

Education Requirements Bachelors degree in business, engineering or other relevant field MBA preferred Experience Requirements 10+ years experience in a commercial leadership role in the energy sector Proven track record of successfully engaging teams to achieve targets exceeding R100-million Leadership role that involved the management and growth of 30+ team members Well-established network within the renewable energy market Proven track record of building and retaining commercial partnerships and accounts Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies Lead and mentor the B2B sales team to achieve targets Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships Build strong customer relationships and drive customer success Collaborate with the product team on go-to-market strategies Work with product marketing for sales collateral and lead generation Develop accurate revenue forecasts and track performance Represent our client at industry events, positioning the company as a thought leader Skills Data-driven decision-maker Excellent negotiator Enjoy the challenge of closing complex deals Strong leadership ability Empathetic and purpose-driven Confident public speaker #J-18808-Ljbffr
